Job Title: Community Care WorkerLocation: Ikot Abasi and Eastern obolo,Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria Job Description:We are seeking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team in Ikot Abasi and Eastern obolo.The ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in the community, promoting health and well-being, and ensuring access to essential care services. Key Responsibilities: Provide care and support to clients.Conduct home visits on a quarterly basis.Link individuals in accessing healthcare and social services.Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, households, and OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children).Promote health education and awareness within the households.Monitor clients’ physical and mental health, reporting any concerns.Maintain accurate records and adhere to organizational policies. Requirements: Minimum qualification: OND (additional training in caregiving is an advantage). Knowledge of computer applications. MUST BE RESIDENT IN THE ABOVE LGAS. Candidates must have an android phone. Proven experience in caregiving or community support is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Ibibio or other local dialects is an advantage.
